With the NL West napping before the autumnal equinox, there was some jockeying for position in the National League while the Twins are creeping ever so quietly to possibly join the Yankees for "Best Record in Baseball."
If the Yankees lose and the Twins win, they will both have the best record in the game.
And the Phillies, who haven't lost in over a week, may also lay claim to that title before all is said and done.
Either way, the Braves hold on the Wild Card is only one in the loss column and the Padres and Rockies could find a way for some October Baseball before it is all over.
So here are the match ups going into today.
